Our next Auditions will be for our fifth production for 2008.

DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE

Production Dates:
7th to 22nd November, 2008.

THE CHARACTERS:

Tony Grimsdyke – A medical student, early 20s male.
Good looking, carefree, uninhibited and natural leader.

Simon Sparrow – A medical student, early 20s male.
Quieter young man, more sophisticated

John Evans – A medical student , early 20s male.
Shares the flat with the boys and Vera. He is tolerant and a team player.

Bromley – A hospital porter, 40–60yo male.
Cockney, comedy character and has some nice scenes.

Vera – A lady in waiting, early 20s female. Attractive.
Girlfriend of Tony. Bit of a flirt.

Sir Lancelot Spratt – A surgeon, 50–60yo male.
Good stage presence, strong actor with flair for comedy. (A beard if possible).

The Matron – A battleship , 40– 60yo female.
A big woman. Formidable but has some nice layers in her character.

Miss Winslow (Riggie) – early 20s female.
Eccentric, simple and dumb. Needs good comedy actress.

Janet – A nurse, early 20s female. Attractive.
A bit of a snob, business-like and knows what she wants.
